Online Poker In Nevada Gaining Traction With Ultimate Poker

Ultimate Poker has been gaining some momentum in recent weeks and seems to be on the right track since it went live on April 30th of this year. According to PokerScout traffic has been gradually increasing week by week. The site has been pushing a number of promotions and also signing various pros to represent the new brand. Antonio Esfandiari who is currently #1 on the All-Time Money List after his One Drop victory last year, has signed on to the brand ambassador.

The team of sponsored pros has been steadily increasing since the sites launch and now includes WSOP bracelet winner Jason Sommerville, two-time WPT champ Jonathan Little and a number of other experienced pros.

For now, play is only limited to individuals that find themselves within state limits. Ultimate Poker has stated that you do not have to be a resident of Nevada in order to legally play on the site, you can even sign up before you travel to Nevada.

Cash game selection has been limited so far which is to be expected so early in the operation. Most amateurs and recreational players aren’t going to rush to deposit right away, some may even wait to hear an honest review from a friend or poker buddy. And there have been a couple bugs and complaints with the software so far, but that is to be expected with most new software products. The positive thing to take away from all this is that online poker is slowly but surely returning and you can expect things to pick up as more states become regulated and additional pook rooms receive licenses.

If you want to increase cash balance, then you can register at situs poker online site. The playing of the poker games is with the skills and intelligence of the players. The checking of the reviews and rankings will offer the correct information to the players.

Interstate regulation has been disccussed and will most likely be introduced on some level once the industry becomes a little bit more established within the United States. A number of land based casinos in Vegas have already applied for or received online gaming licenses and you can expect them to be launching in the coming months. Ceasers Entertainment and WSOP.com are expected to launch their new real money site next month for the state of Nevada.

There is definately a lot going on in the online gaming industry at the moment and you can expect to see a lot more poker rooms popping up in the future, hopefully some in your own state.

But for now, Ultimate Poker is your only “legal” choice and you have to be in Nevada. The Sunday tournament appears to be the best value. The $100 buy-in $10k guarantee runs on Sundays at 6pm PT. The biggest cash games that have been running are a $10/20 NLHE full ring as well as 6-max. Game variety and selection should be considerably better in the coming months as the site gains more players and new games open up. June should be a good month for the site as the WSOP is in town and a decent amount of poker players will most likely test the site out while in town. Below are a couple of the promotions the site has been running lately.

Ultimate Poker is available for download here . There is currently no Mac version, you must download VMFusion which allows you to switch over to Windows on your mac. Now unless your familiar with torrents (see YouTube if not), you’re going to have to pay for Windows in order to run it on your Mac. Bottom line, it’s becomes a bit of a hastle if you don’t have a PC. I have used VMFusion for poker software in the past but I have not used it with the Ultimate Poker client. VMFusion works pretty well, there are a couple alternatives out there, but I just assume wait for an actual Mac version. It can be a bit laggy, especially if you’re hooked up to any external monitors. I’d expect a roll out relatively soon after receiving feedback from their current version.
