Let us not forget Private First Class Wayne Robert Swan, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Marine Corps, PFC Swan served our country until March 29th, 1969 in Quang Tri, South Vietnam. He was 20 years old and was not married. Wayne died from artillery fire. His body was recovered. Wayne was born on July 28th, 1948 in Arkport, New York.

PFC Swan is on panel 28W, line 087 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
