When I remember back
to the old times
I wish that I could go back to those days.
No one could sing this song better then
Clyde Ross!
There are some people
that you can never
forget. I miss Brother Clyde so dearly.
He was like a daddy to me.

When Clyde's work was
done here on
earth, God called him to his home in heaven
to be with his best friend which is also his wife Betty.
I know that there is a lot of rejoicing going on
between both of them in heaven.

Some day I hope to
be with Clyde again to
hear him sing again like I have for many years with
his band the "Celestial Sounds."

One day Clyde came
to me and said ~~
"I'm starting a country gospel band." Then he
pitched me a bass guitar and told me to learn to
play it and he will see me in a week.
I did not know one
thing about a bass guitar.
Believe me, I hated a bass guitar. That is
one time I had to do something that
I did not want to do.
After a little practice
I learned to play the bass
and I went on the road with Clyde Ross
and the Celestial Sounds. Over the course of several
years we traveled to many different places
spreading the gospel through song.

Clyde treated me as
if I was one of his own
children, I even lived with him for a while.
And when
I was unemployed he gave me a job.
I am so thankful that
Clyde made or enticed
me to learn to play the bass guitar and I know today
that Jesus Christ used Clyde Ross ~ along with
many others ~ to reach my soul to serve
Him (Jesus).
Sincerely,
Gary Nicholson Sr.
